GRANT OPPORTUNITES

The mission of Nevada Society of Scottish Clans is dedicated to perpetuating the ancient customs, literature, music, games, history, and attire of Scotland and its people. This is accomplished through the education of the Society's members and the community, and by offering opportunities to participate in Celtic events and activities. 

 

The Society’s goals include assisting individuals and organizations by awarding grants to perpetuate these culture disciplines and to foster the education of others.

GRANT PROCEDURE

  1. Complete and sign the Grant Request Application. 

  2. If the applicant is a minor, parent or guardian must sign the application.

  3. Mail completed application to NSSC, Attn:  Grant Committee, PO Box 7723, Reno, NV  89510.

  4. The Grant Chair will assure the grant request meets the guidelines set by the Society By-Laws and present the application to the Board of Directors for consideration.

  5. If funding is granted, the successful applicant shall provide a report to the Society of the outcome of their experience from the grant.
